"Nuummioq" will be presented as a part of The Works International's line-up at Cannes film festival.
Since the international premiere of "Nuummioq" at Sundance Film Festival in January, the film is steaming full-speed ahead, reports Sermitsiaq.
"It's a great relief to get home through the ash cloud, after a few months abroad at festivals and with sales work for 'Nuummioq'. Now I am taking any care of the sale of the film to the rest of the world. And both I and 3900 Pictures can begin in earnest to make new acquaintances and business partners and start new projects," said film's producer, Mikisoq H. Lynge.
The Works International is based in London and since 1986 the company has facilitated the distribution rights for a variety of international film successes - most recently the Oscar-winning documentary "The Cove."
At Cannes, The Works International's efforts will be directed towards selling "Nuummioq"to the rest of the world. At the film festival, the world's largest, "Nuummioq" will be shown as part of a series in so-called Market Screenings for film buyers from around the world.

"We have made the film with an international potential in mind. Film production is not always a good investment, but experience and pride to display 'Nuummioq' to people from around the world to me is priceless," Lynge told Sermitsiaq.
