Several hundred windmill parks could someday help power in the northern Swedish counties of Norrbotten and Västerbotten, says Kiruna Wagon.
The company, which originally specialized in construction of railway carriers for the regional mining industry, now wants to start producing wind power plants, Sveriges Radio reports.
"This is a future investment. If one succeeds, we might get a market with 200-300 wind power plants per year. That is a billion dollar industry," company director Fredrik Kangas told SR.se.
